Environmental Testing
We use a full range of tools and techniques to identify any issues. These include:
-
Sound level testing – an important tool to help identify parts of the HVAC system which may not be performing as well as it should or indeed identify parts that are overworked.
-
Thermal imaging – a non-intrusive way to identify heat patterns to give visual indicators of airflow, hot spots and cool zones. Thermal imaging technology allows us to see heat patterns and, is an excellent way to demonstrate and report on areas that are not functioning effectively
-
Air flow visualisation – Using our specialist tool, we create a non-toxic smoke which is visible to the naked eye and can show air flow around parts of the building. This is particularly useful when trying to identify leaks in the building fabric (internal and external) as well as finding leaks which cause a lack of air pressure.
-
Data logging – Whether it be in an existing building experiencing problems with the occupant’s comfort levels, or at the end of a new build or fit out commissioning process, Pureflow can provide the temperature & humidity data loggers to record the required information over any length of time, 24/7. All results are documented onto Excel spreadsheets for the client to review on completion.
Our checks are carried out by our highly qualified team and can produce data, documentation and certificates for your internal records or for building inspectors.
